an announcement for the passenger travelling in Air-India flight no.:9552 to New
York. Due to technical reasons, the flight will be delayed by 3 hours.
Inconvenience regretted.”
The passengers of the flight were disappointed and one of such
passenger was Hiren Shah- a well-known businessman from Ahmedabad. He was
waiting to board this flight. Hiren was an MBA and He had completed few years
back. And had become very successful. His parents were proud of his son, He has
been a very good son. And now they were looking for a good alliance for his
marriage. But Hiren was not interested. He had been avoiding this proposals for
almost 2 years now. Only Hiren knew the reason. It was love of his life-Juhi.
Juhi was his collage mate. Hiren and Juhi
fall in the very first semester. They
were always together from studies, movies, hanging out with friends and
celebrating festivals, they had decided to get married once they settled down
after completing MBA.
After collage, Hiren joined his
father’s business and Juhi, joined a reputed firm. Hiren and Juhi remained
together even after MBA until Juhi suddenly disappeared somewhere. None of the
friends or class mates knew her where about. But Hiren was waiting for her. He
had faith in his love and he was sure one day, Juhi will come back.
Hiren wanted to expand his father’s
business, so often he had to go abroad. And this time he was going to USA. He
took flight from Ahmedabad, reached Mumbai; and there he was to change flight.
But his flight was delayed, so he was seating in waiting lounge- working on his
laptop.
Suddenly, a little child came to
him, kid seemed to be interested in the laptop. He just stood there for some
time. Hiren noticed the kid, but he was waiting for the kid to do something. He
loved kids and he was very sure that the kid will make a move. And that is what
happened, the kid occasionally started playing with the laptop’s keyboard.
Hiren smiled and looked at the kid.
Kid came near, sat in Hiren’s lap and Hiren showed him some cartoon clips.
Suddenly the kid got down and started running towards a lady. Hiren followed
the kid to make sure he does not fall while running.
The kid reached to the lady-his
mother, the lady turned around to pick up her child. Hiren looked at her. It
was none other than Juhi. Juhi also saw Hiren. And it was a long never ending
silence…
